A Look at Discontined Hearts for Hearts Doll Nahji

I had a request for a post featuring my 14″ Hearts for Hearts doll. Hearts for Hearts was an amazing doll line, and you could buy them at Target for fantastic prices! A little over a year ago, the line was discontinued without warning after 2 new dolls had been released. I went to Target back when they were still in production and decided to buy the newest doll as soon as I could. I went back a week later and they were off the shelves, suddenly prices went up on Ebay, and I knew something was wrong. Luckily, I had added Nahji to my collection the year before. People are still puzzling over the fact that Playmates shut down production when the dolls were so popular.

On a higher note, today I have some pictures of Nahji. I also have Chai Time with Nahji/Deluxe Playset, but this post just features the doll itself.

At 14″ they are 4″ smaller than American Girl Dolls and make the perfect little sisters!

This book is too big!!!!! Help me!

Oh yes, I forgot Nahji is joining us for the review so you can get to know her! The doll comes with a book and comb with a rubber band (way to small to do any hairstyle, even a simple pony tail). She also came with a bracket/necklace for girls, but I lost mine. She came with earrings, a necklace, headband, and bracelets. They were pretty small and the only ones I could find were the gold bracelets (Look on the cover of the book above to see her other accessories).

I’m bored, let’s head outside!!!

All of the Hearts for Hearts dolls are from different places, for instance Nahji is from-

The doll has rooted, silky hair and it’s really nice quality considering I got her for around $20-$25.

She has a hard plastic body with really detailed features.

Look at my curls!!!!!

Nahji’s an amazing doll, and if you can find her at a decent price I highly recommend her!

I did some researching for you guys on Ebay and found an absolutely ridiculous listing, it comes with 7 of the retired outfits and 10 dolls for $1098.98!!!

Of course, the doll I went into Target for, Surjan, is not on Ebay or Amazon even at ridiculous prices, she’s not there at all!

Ever After High Forest Pixies: Harelow & Featherly Review

When Ever After High released it’s new Dragon Games line, it included these 3 adorable Forest Pixie dolls!

Today I will be reviewing Harelow and Featherly.

This is Deerla, the one Forest Pixie doll I am missing.

Both have SUPER cute shoes and very tiny feet! (Harelow Left, Featherly Right)

The dresses are very thin, but silky. Each has the animal they represent on their dress.  The belts are a flexible plastic as well. Side by side you can see their skin colors. Featherly has a light blue-green skin tone, while Harelow has a pale pink.

Each has an unremovable plastic piece in their hair. Harelow’s bunny ears are odd because she now has two sets of ears!!! You can also clearly see both dolls’ hair colors. Harelow seems to have an almost raspberry color. I just love it!

And now…… the dolls are arriving for a size comparison since the pixies are smaller than the average Ever After High doll.

First up is EAH compared to Featherly.

Next is Barbie VS. Featherly.

And…… Lottie with Featherly!!!

Ending Finally with Harelow and Featherly! Which is you favorite? Comment below! These dolls are not articulated like Ever After High, and I think their names are a little cheesy myself.

All My AG Doll Food

These are all my American Girl Doll food that’s not AG Brand.

Every month on the 15th, Pippaloo releases a bunch of food made out of polmer clay on her Etsy shop at 12:00 Eastern Time. I’ve managed to get all of the items above before they sold out. What’s your fav item? Comment below!

I got the Hot Coco from AnnsAGminiatures on Esty. I bought 4 at the time for my cousins and sister at Christmas time.

The gingerbread man is from Oriental Trading I think it was $8 or so for a pack of 48.

Pippaloo or Oriental Trading?

So cute!!!

Egg Decorating Set Review

Hey!!! It’s Cecile again! Today I’ll be showing you another item Shannon bought for us dolls 2 years ago. It is $32 and still available.

This set includes:

  • an egg carton
  • 5 crayons
  • Egg dye
  • Glitter
  • Egg cups
  • Egg Stand
  • Tray

Here are all the items that open: The egg carton with 9 eggs that don’t come out, a crayon box with 5 crayons, and an egg dye box with 3 primary colors included.

Shannon here is holding up an egg dye for us to see the awesome detail on the cap, which does not open.

Here I am holding one of the egg cups that you use to dye the eggs in.

In this set no eggs are removable. 😦

Retired: Kit’s Summer Dress Review

Hi!!! This is Shannon’s doll Cecile! Shannon said I could do a few Easter posts over the next few days. I decided to write in this pretty purple/maroon. She just wanted to remind readers who are participating in the Doll Outfit Challenge that your outfits are due Thursday. Remember the theme is Time. Anyway, let’s get started.

This is the dress I wear every Easter. Shannon bought me this dress 2 years ago for $32. It was retired just this year. It comes with a dress, hair bow, and pair of shoes. I like how the light colors contrast with my dark skin tone.

I never, ever style my hair, but when I pulled my curls back with the bow, I loved the outcome. The dress is so cute from the back.

Today was a windy day, and I kept falling over! The photo lets you see the detail of the dress though.

What do you think? Do you like my Easter dress? Comment below if you have or want this dress! I’ll see you again on my next post tomorrow!

Disney Princess and Me Cinderella

I got my second Disney Princess and Me doll for Christmas.

This is Cinderella from the new Disney Movie! Her gown can fit slimmer dolls like A Girl for All Time.

Her golden curls are soft and beautiful.

The box says she is 18″, but more close to 19″ when compared to an American Girl Doll.

I really recommend this doll for anyone who loved the new movie, like me. You can purchase her at Toys R Us for $50.

Comment below if you like this doll or the movie she is based on.

My Target Finds

On Friday, I went to Target to check out the toy section with some of my grandparents. I ended up getting some Our Generation, Barbie, and Tsum Tsum items.

Reach New Heights:

This is the coolest idea EVER a doll rock climbing outfit!!?! My sister was lucky enough to find one Coral (the OG surfer doll)  in stock, and unfortunately there weren’t any more for me! 😦  You get everything pictured and a pair of shoes that don’t fit AG’s for $17.

Here’s the shoe’s on Rebecca. Besides the size, they’re very cute.

The harness and it’s mini clip is SO cute! The rope is a little short, but a very cute addition.

And from the back….. The outfit is very cute, the shirt would be a good rash guard and the pants would also double as yoga pants!

I give this outfit 4 out of 5 stars just because the shoes don’t fit and the helmet is tight. I absolutely LOVE the harness though!

Comment below if you think I should make a doll rock climbing wall!

Barbie stuff:

I got one Barbie Fashionista (original size) for $10 and one Made to Move for $15.

I got this doll because of her unique look and cute outfit. She has red streaks in her hair, brown eyes with a tint of green, and a “beauty mark” under her right eye.

She is SO pose able and cute! She is styled in a yoga inspired look with no shoes. Her curly bun is cute and so are her amber eyes.

Both dolls are given 5 out of 5 and well worth their price.

I got another mystery Tsum Tsum pack and finally got the Cheshire Cat after my sister traded with me (she felt bad about getting Coral 🙂 ). He is SO cute!

My Collection

He receives a 5 out of 5 because he’s way to cute for words and I love Alice and Wonderland.

Comment below your favorite item out of the 4. Do you have/want any of these items?

Disney Tsum Tsum Mystery Stack Pack Review

One thing I’ve learned with blind bags (or in this case “mystery stack packs”) is that you never get the toy you want. I’m most familiar with LEGO blind bags, and I think one out of well, 7 years of purchasing them I’ve gotten the character I wanted (I was 7 and it was a vampire). Anyway, with these packs it’s a 1 in 10 chance that you’ll get the character you want which is much better than the LEGO packs which have 16 characters.

The back of the bag shows the ten medium sized figures and the stackable accessory included. I really wanted the Cheshire Cat and my second choice was Winnie the Pooh, but I ended up with Sebastian who is actually very cute.

IMG_9030.JPGHere he is next to his um, well, shell house?! I wish it included instructions, because it took me a few minutes to put it together.

IMG_9033He fits perfectly in the shell, I wish it were a little bigger, but for a $2.99 product I will not complain. Another comparison to LEGO blind bags is coming….. THE PRICE!!! LEGO bags are around $5 at Target, and the Tsum Tsums are $2.99!!! They’re SO MUCH CUTER TOO!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know what the little sea weed part is for, but it works as a great second story area, though he dangles off :0 Or it could be a shade from the sun.

It’s the perfect size for an American Girl Doll just like the plush figures!

All in all, I rate this item 4 out of 5 possible stars. The price is fantastic and so is the quality of the toy. I think the shell could be a tad bigger and instructions could be included though. Sebastian is an adorable character, and his house comes apart for easy storage. I love how these characters are the perfect size for American Girl dolls.
